Wildflower

This week, Snapshots Around the World has the theme Wildflower. I had to submit a picture of my favorite wild flower.

This is my oldest daughter, Lillee :) She has a unique spelling to her name because her paternal grandfather's middle name is Lee. We opted to incorporate his name into Lillee. This also matched her older brother's name for same number of letters in their first name and having a double letter in the middle (I like numbers and patterns...my geek side shines brightly!).

I didn't know the story behind her name...that's neat!

What a sweet wildflower! My daughter's name means "wild lily" or "lily of the field" in Japanese (we took it from the Bible - "consider the lilies of the field"). I guess I could have put her picture up as well. :o)

Just found your blog. I love the spelling of your daughter's name. Lee is a family name for us as well. Never thought to use it in that way! How unique! Your daughter is lovely!
